Drug Uses
Renova used to treat wrinkles, brown spots, and surface roughness on the face.
Renova is also effective against stretch marks, such as those seen on the abdominal wall in women after pregnancy. This can also be used to treat acne.
Renova works by binding to specific cell receptors of skin after a topical application. After the cell receptors have been activated, there is a modification in gene expression, subsequent protein synthesis, and cell growth and differentiation. Thus, the epidermal cell is modified to produce a greater amount of new skin. In clinical studies there is an enhanced production of collagen in areas of treated skin.

What are the differences between Renova brand-name drugs and Renova generic drugs?
You probably know that pharmaceutical companies carry out extensive research and clinical testing to win approval from the Food and Drug Administration for new drugs. The new drug is then protected by patent for at least 10 years. Hence, a brand-name drug. When the patent expires another drug company can "copy the recipe" for the brand drug. This "copy" is called a generic drug. The FDA requires that generic Renova have the same active chemical composition, be dispensed in the same dosage form such as a tablet or capsule and be taken in the same dosage as the brand-name drug.
Genericmedsale.com recommends the use of a generic drug only when it is "A" rated, the highest bioequivalent rating by the FDA.
Generic Renova cost less and competitive pricing by the different manufacturers further reduces the prices. Occasionally, generic drugs may look different from their brand-name versions because the inactive ingredients such as fillers and dyes can be different. However, these ingredients do not affect the safety or performance (efficacy) of the drug.
More HighlightsHow many online pharmacies are out there?
It is difficult, if not impossible, to answer this question accurately, but it is probably fewer than you would think. Illegitimate pharmacies (usually those that offer online prescribing) open and close on a daily basis. One company posing as a legitimate pharmacy may have many URLs or Web addresses, creating the impression that there are a greater number of Internet pharmacies than actually exists. In addition, pharmacies may only register with select search engines. If these search engines are not utilized when performing a search then all pharmacies may not be counted.
